Latex – used as a binder to hold particles firmly together and to form a film as it dries. It is well suited to industries that require high flexibility, strong adhesion and water resistance, such as adhesives, architectural paints, paper coating and construction.
Kaolin clay – a fundamental pigment in papermaking, used either as a filler or as a coating pigment to deliver excellent paper quality and highly efficient production. Also supplied for paper coating adhesives and for carpet-backing adhesives.
EcoSphere is an alternative binder that replaces the petroleum-based product known as SB-Latex (Styrene Butadiene Latex) in coated paper. Its performance enables it to replace petroleum-derived binders and polymer solutions across a broad range of industries.
Talc – as the paper industry now uses recycled fibre in large volumes, printing ink and other contaminants have become far more prevalent. Talc can be used as a control agent for contaminants and stickies during the stock preparation stage, improving the overall efficiency of the production process.
Dispersant – used to improve the dispersion of solid particles within a suspension. It is well suited to industries that need to prevent solids from agglomerating or that require a high degree of dispersion throughout the system.
